Im actually a New Forest girl, born and bred in Lymington, but its right on the edge of Dorset, and places like Poole, Christchurch and Bournemouth have been like second homes to me over the years, especially the 'party years' of my youth!
So its only natural that they become areas where I cover with my photo booths.
I thought I would put together this little post to talk about some of what we offer, why we are so upfront about our pricing and answer some of your most frequently asked questions.
So on that note, lets get stuck in....
Frequently Asked Photo Booth Hire Questions
How much is it to hire a Selfie Pod Photo Booth?
We like to be transparent here at Miss Selfie Pod, and display all our Photo Booth hire prices upfront. You can go basic with our Lucky Dip package thats just £149, and then upgrade your package with prices going up to £269 for all day hire.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, although we call it a 'Booking Fee', we only ask for a £50 booking fee to confirm your Photo Booth and date with us. The remaining balance is not due until 14 days before the event date. Our All Day bundles are a slightly higher £75 booking fee.
How long does it take to set up?
Our pods are prepared 'off-site', so we pretty much arrive and 'set-up' within about 10 minutes. Although sometimes this car vary slightly. We always strive to be a hassle free, minimum fuss set up and takedown.
Our bundle takes a little longer and we require around 30 minutes for this. And finally if you are having a selfie pod and backdrop from our All Day option then we need around 20-25 minutes.
How much space should I leave?
If you're having a selfie pod (or Arcade Machine), then simply the space of a typically human, with a bit extra for guests to stand.
If you have a backdrop its important to note that these are 8x8ft, plus we need some wriggle room on top of that to complete the set-up.
What areas do you cover with your photo booths?
We are based in both Bournemouth & Lymington and are happy to offer our Photo Booth hire in these locations, plus the likes of Poole, Christchurch, Blandford, Weymouth, Dorchester, Southampton etc.
We do reserve the right to add a small travel charge if you are beyond these areas.
Are there any restrictions when hiring one of your Selfie Pod Photo Booths?
Nope, they always include UNLIMITED pics, GIFs, boomerangs, and instant sharing. Guests can use it as much as they wish, be as creative as possible and you'll get to see it ALL afterwards in your private gallery which is also, AWLAYS included.
Do you offer printing?
The simple answer is no. We are able to keep our prices super low, set-ups quick and amount of space we need down by keeping things simple.
We may introduce a printing option in the future, but we love how popular the selfie pods are in their current form.
We have been to plenty of weddings as guests and seen people taking pictures of the printouts to put on socials, all we have done is removed that middle process.
No mess, no fuss, no waste.
Can I add a backdrop?
Absolutely! You are always welcome to create your own, and indeed some venues have their own natural ones, exposed brick walls, or floral interiors etc. So we can always place a photo booth in front of these.
We offer Green screen without Green screen, so basically we can put you infront of any wall, and super impose a backdrop into your images. There are slight limitations with this, such as props wont show, but on the whole its a great way of making a bland wall into anything you like.
And finally we offer actual, physical backrops, 8x8ft that can be added to your all Day hire bookings. We currently only offer 2 styles, but as they increase in popularity we intend to add a few more.
Can we customise our pictures?
Yep, we offer a range of digital overlays for your booking with us. From some classic styles to our new premium options that you can add should you wish to.
